What does the SAP certification include?
Imagine an installed add-on modifies data in the DB tables where all employees’ sensitive data is stored, to avoid such problems, a certified program must live in its own so-called “namespace” in SAP, clearly separating all code and data from that of SAP and other SAP add-ons. This program code is then checked for compliance with the rules set by SAP to avoid potential conflicts with applications that are already running. Highly specialized scanning tools are used to examine the code for less obvious issues (e.g. security or performance).

Why Dynamic License Control?
The DLC offers more details than the embedded SAP tools. It can analyze user behavior and authorization roles, recommend the correct classification of user license types, measure engines, analyze indirect/digital access and much more.
